Friday the 13th Wedding: Suppliers Rating and Review 1

“My Big Fat Pinoy Wedding Day” Friday afternoon of June 13, 2014 in my home country and on my lucky date. It was a sunny afternoon and everything went well (there was some occasional drawbacks but we didn't really pay attention to that, no biggie). It was a successful event based on my guestbook review. It was solemn yet fun, everything was beautiful, and everything was memorable. We were really happy and so as everyone. This event wouldn’t be a success without the help of my trustee suppliers. Please take time to read my comments and review.

MY A-LIST SUPPLIERS

1.Coordinator: Events Simplified
Rating: 5/5

Review: Contrary to their name, we feel not “simplified” but grand on our big day. There was a lot of hassles, mistakes, misunderstandings, etc during our day but we didn’t feel it because of our superb coordinator headed by Ms. Karmie. She makes our life easier; everything went smooth, organized, alive, and stressed-free. Big THANKS and KUDOS to their team, everyone was really happy and satisfied.

Bride-Chillax: 6 Months before Wedding Day!

Oh no! Few months to go before our big day and I only had six suppliers booked. Since I pretend to be Bride-Chillax I won't freak out. Six months is almost 180 days, more days to go. Being an "overseas bride" is one of the hardest thing if you are preparing for your wedding day. The name implies, you are so-over- the - Atlantic.  You will have sleepless nights, more time with your email, Google search pre and post work, and lots of " I- will- use- my- instinct" moments upon deciding to book a supplier. Period it's really hard.

Going on, here's my top 6 suppliers that I booked through the help of the internet:

1. Transfiguration Chapel , Caleruega (not really a supplier )

My dream wedding church...majestic! All I really wanted is a small church for a small wedding. My dream came true when I saw this church. The place is perfect. The weather is perfect. This chapel is perfect ;)

2. Coordinator: Events Simplified

Right now, no comment yet.. We've been exchanging emails before, now we are not.. Maybe because on my side I'm not being active as well.. I already booked all my major suppliers before I have booked them so I only avail their partial coordination. But now I realized, what's the use of partial coordination, I should just get the OTD coordination..

We'll see.. They have great feed back anyway.. More positive than negative so I'll stay positive!

3. Venue: Clearwater Resthouse

The hardest of all the hardest  is to booked the best venue. This gives me a lot of headache. Since I don't have the chance of seeing the place and have the "this is it!" feeling until now I'm confused and still wanted to change our venue.

I just wanted for a place with Taal View, with ample of time and space to party that's why I booked them. Now, I'm about to changemy mind due to some factors like- if it will rain the place may become muddy even if we have a tent, how to decorate the place,etc,etc.. I don't have much time with other stuffs to consider.

4. Photographer: Osep and Mimi Photography

This was the first supplier I booked. I've been searching on the net and been inquiring with lots of photographers before I booked them. I'm pretty satisfied with the vibrancy of colors since Jeff and I are not into classics and other photography style. We just wanted to have a fun wedding with fun photos. A plus factor is that they are on my budget and I think their photos and style are all worth it. ;)

5. Videographer: Aisle 1401

I have been watching a lot of video styles, MTVs, and SDEs since we decided to have our church wedding. And so like binge eating I've been so full and fed up from all the videos I have watched. I I just based my decision to booked them through online wedding forum feed backs. They are affordable and I think they are pretty good too. So let's just see on our "big day " :).

6. Hair and Make Up: FroilanErik Artistry

Online search again. Based my decision through photos on their web account. I found their before and after photos pretty amazing. I booked them right away. I didn't search and inquire much on this. I just trust them. I know they'll make me pretty :).

So there you have it! I started booking my suppliers six months ago and until now I didn't add on any. I still have six months more for the others.MORE TO GO!

Stay Positive ;)

Cheers!
